With over 20 years of law enforcement experience, Tom Saccenti served his last 12 years as a campus police chief in both the small private university setting and the larger state university environment. In his last command, Tom utilized community policing, technology and strategic patrol to reduce on-campus violent crime by 49% and off campus violent crime, within the universities patrol district, by 35%.

Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is completing an Ed.D in Higher Education Administration. He has served as an adjunct faculty member for West Virginia University teaching Investigations, Police Technology and Police Administration. He is a certified Master Criminal Investigator through the Ohio Pace Officers Training Academy and holds instructor certification in multiple states.

Tom and his wife have 5 children. They now travel the country, as a family, speaking on the weekends at churches and community groups on emergency response. During the week day he presents at colleges and universities on new law enforcement techniques and works as a consultant for institutions throughout the country. He is a former board member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators and is the current president of the National Association of Campus Safety Administrators.
